Short History of MAKKAH

Makkah came from Semitic language Bakkah ,which means valley.


Bakkah is the name of the Holy Quran in one place instead of Makkah ,

" Bakkara as has been mentioned . Allah says : ( Indeed, the first house , which has been set up for people , it Bakkah (Makkah)  , Which is blessed , and guidance for the worlds . ) [Surah Al- Imran : 96]

In the nineteenth century BC to the era of Ibrahim and Isamail (A:) narrates the history of Makkah ; They were the first inhabitants of Makkah . Thus, the Holy Qur'an, Allah mentions Ibrahims's,  statement :

"Our Lord , indeed I have some of my offspring to cropless settled in the valley of the kings in your holy temple , O our Lord , that they may establish prayer . Thus the heart of some people gravitate towards them and provide them with the provision of fruits , hopefully they will be grateful" [Surah Ibrahim : 37]

Prophet Ibrahim (A:)'s prayer merit Zamzam water was exploded from the below of  Ismail (A:)'s feet when it is shaken to her mother - in food and beverages come to an end . Since that time different family has come to the well  and the city of Makkah starts life instability.

Different tribes , has come to Makkah from different places , and they tend to get a plethora of . Is given over to the Quraish of Mecca, as well as leadership . Quraish continued their charge until the advent of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (S:). The advent of the Prophet Muhammad (S:) in Makkah and the whole world is a big change of life attained .

Prophet Muhammad (S:) was sent to Makkah , the Kaaba was kiblah of Muslims and Place of invitation . However, the people of Makkah against the Islamic message is too harsh .

Muslims, most brutal , even once the Muslims in Madina was forced to emigrate from their land . And there was the establishment of the first Islamic state . Then Prophet Muhammad (S:) returned to Makkah in triumph . From the time he became the Makkah of Islamic region , which is still in force .

Makkah was the most important place towards the Region of Muslim rulers and Caliphs were at various stages in which they developed and expanded and made ​​it a center. From which the light of Islam spread to the entire world.
